If you have seen as many butchered television versions of this film as I have, you may want to have a definitive version for your viewing pleasure. Although the laserdisc version did far more justice to the film than any other previous version, until now, we had yet to see this film in its full glory on a home format.

Below are details on the available versions, along with my critics of the different formats. Twentieth Century Fox released a definitive Zardoz edition on DVD to Region 1 in March 27, 2001, and we had the honor of being the first to review the disc, which is available from the DVD link below.
